Crochet Fingerless Gloves

I LOVE how these turned out!! I have been meaning to crochet myself a pair of fingerless gloves since before last winter!

I hate when my hands are cold and during the winter my hands are

ALWAYS
COLD.

Last winter I kept a pair of regular gloves in my purse all winter.

I made these with the intent to wear them inside,

all the time!

I found the pattern on Moogly Blog I'm not an expert at crochet by any means, but I can follow directions and thanks to YouTube and all the videos you can find with crochet instructions, I don't have a problem figuring out new crochet stitches! For example, prior to using this pattern I had never done a "Front Post Double Crochet" (fpdc) or a "Back Post Double Crochet" (bpdc) and now I can! The pattern itself has links to instruction videos that have been done on Moogly.

<-- Somebody wanted to cuddle and happily slept in my lap despite the fact that the yarn kept tickling his ears!

Both my kids now want fingerless gloves too!

I will be making a second pair in a different color for my daughter and I will be making a Minecraft themed pair for my son!
I'm also going to make myself a second pair of fingerless gloves because I will need another pair to wear when I inevitably have to wash these. I haven't decided yet if I want to use the same pattern or try a different one?...

I have a board on Pinterest of Crochet Ideas, unfortunately not all the patterns I find are free, but this one was!
Do you like to crochet?

  1. Mary knits and crochets. She's knitted a number of fingerless mitts, which you can see here: https://thesoundofonehandtyping.wordpress.com/2016/01/21/mittens-by-mary-jusjojan/
