Postcard Swap: Indiana 9 of 50

We got this one in the mail a few days ago!
On the back of the postcard:
Racing Capital of the World Indianapolis, Indiana
This 2 1/2 mile oval track, where the very first 500 mile race was held in 1911, hosts three of the largest single day sporting events in the world, the Indianapolis 500, Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, and the United States Grand Prix. The newest edition to the infield was the road course, which was completed in 2000.

Check out their blog for more Indiana Facts @ Twelve Fit Feet

Every week a family from a different state sends out their postcards (in theory we should receive 1 card each week). Click the Topic link "Postcard Swap" below to see the other cards we have gotten so far!
