Parties, Potty Training, Pink Eye and Planes....

Busy, busy, busy!
Hubby has been on leave the last two weeks. He went back to work yesterday. Luckily for him he was off work because a few days after he got back he got some kind of viral infection in just his left eye. It wasn't pink eye, but looked like it, minus the goop. Its finally starting to get better and there is actually white in that eye.

We had two birthday parties over the weekend... One Saturday for one of Princess's school friends and another Sunday at our neighbors. Two in one weekend is a little much for me...

I have officially begun potty training Bobo. At first he was very exited about it all and wanted to "Go Peep" constantly. The novelty wore off quickly and now hes kinda back and forth. But its a work in progress.

Friday evening I (just me) am flying "home" to Colorado for a wedding on Saturday, then I leave late Sunday morning. Hubby will be alone with the kids for the weekend! This will be the first time hes ever been alone with both kids for more than a few hours. Haha. Hubby's getting a taste of my life for about 53 hours.

Hubby's Home!!!

Deployment #7 has come to and end!!! Hubby got home several days ago! He's now on leave (time off of work) and will be for the next week so you probably wont hear much from me in the Blogosphere.
It's so great to have him back home!! Mommy has become chop-liver to the kids, they want Daddy to do everything for them. I don't mind, it gives me a much needed break. Although its a little weird to have my Mommas-Boy not want me... :-(  I know they both just missed Daddy a lot. So did I.

I have this urge to spray her in the face

Don't deny it, I know you have all thought about it.
The downstairs of my house is all one room, the living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is separated by a large island with a bar where the kids eat and where the sink is. So when I am standing at my kitchen sink I am looking out at the rest of the room.
My sink has one of those sprayers on it. So whenever I am standing at my kitchen sink and she wines at me, bugs me for attention, demands food, especially if she jumps on the counter, or on one of the bar stools. I just have this urge to grab the sprayer. The only reason I dont follow through is because then I would get the floor all wet and have to clean it all up... I really want to spray her when she "meows" at me because I made her move off the kitchen rug, the little fur-ball thinks its her napping place...

You though I was talking about my daughter didn't you? LOL

I have to admit, it would be kinda funny. Princess sits at the bar to eat and she is positioned directly in front of the kitchen sink in the "line of fire". But I would NEVER do that, she would totally scream and freak out. She's not the best sport in those kinda situations.

Made in America by Ramblers Way

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way. All opinions are 100% mine.

I grew up in Colorado in a large metropolitan area. So, when I moved to Hubby’s first duty station in the small desert town of Twenty-nine Palms, CA, it was quite a culture shock.
In the short time we lived in 29 Palms there is one particular place that began as a coffee shop I believe, then closed and reopened as a bagel shop, and I recently learned it has now become a deli. I don’t think the town would even be there if it weren’t for the Military Base. When I think of 29 Palms, I am reminded of the town of Radiator Springs from the movie Cars.

Ramblers Way Farm is on a mission to rejuvenate the small towns around America, in my book, that’s fantastic! After I spent time in the little mountain town of Montrose, CO where my in-laws live, I have since grown to love the small town charm.
Ramblers Way Farm is “putting-up-shop” in run-down small towns to help restore the communities. They are revitalizing the way American business is done. The Company makes fine woolen apparel using 100% domestic resources! They are the ideal definition of “Made in America”. The Corporate Office located in downtown Kennebunk, Maine, is in a building that was originally built in 1792. It has been refurbished and restored to its original condition along with suited to meet the current environmental standards. I love old buildings, especially when there fixed up too look new again!

Do you miss Colorado?

I do miss my family and friends in Colorado very much. I miss the beautiful mountains and the colors in the fall, the changing of the seasons. But I dont miss the freezing cold snow. Especially having to drive in it...
