Wordless Wednesday - Caterpillars

I never knew that caterpillars made webs... These are in our back yard...

Even though I know its not a spider web, still kinda creeps me out... I Googled it to find out what they were and I beleive there either a EASTERN TENT CATERPILLAR or a FALL WEBWORM both of which are harmless and wont do much damage to the tree.

  1. I remember seeing those tents all over the pine trees by my house when I was a kid. I had forgotten all about them!

  12. When I was a kid we called them tent worms. They are pretty gross and can kill your trees so you might want to find out how to get rid of them. Have a wonderful day!
