Here's The Scoop:

We are flying to Colorado on July 8th to visit our family for 3 1/2 weeks. Then on August 1st we fly to Hawaii!! Where we will be stationed for the next 3 years!!!
July 7th is "Moving Day", the moving company (hired and payed for by the military) will come and pack all of our stuff in boxes and onto a truck. One of our vehicles is already out over the ocean somewhere on its way to Hawaii, the military only pays for one so we are selling the other.

We will be spending half of our time in Colorado with my family and half with Hubby's family. Unfortunately Hubby's family has Dial-up.... Aaaaahhhhhhhh - WHAT AM I GOING TO DO??? So during that time I will not be able to blog much.
Throughout the next month I will try to update my blog and comment back as often as I can, so please bear with me if you don't see me around. Maybe Ill do a fun game in my absence to keep you all interested and coming back for more...

What Have I Been Doing???

It has been a little busy around here. Last week, Monday was the last day of School for Princess and a half day as well, along with she had a Dr. appointment after school.
Tuesday Hubby took our van to the "processing center" (45 minutes away) to get it shipped off to Hawaii. The Military pays for one vehicle so we are getting rid of the other one.
Wednesday Princess went to the eye Dr. 20/25 she's good (for now).
We are having NO luck selling our house, we are now trying to rent it as well. Which we did not want to do, but what choice do we have. We get a lot of drive-by lookers but no calls, we have great curb appeal, why don't they want to see the inside?

I cant seem to fully wrap my head around the fact that were moving to Hawaii. It will not seem real until we actually get there. At least I will already know someone there. A friend of Hubby's and his wife & kids are going there as well, they leave tomorrow (I think). This will be our 3 duty station together. Its kinda weird how we keep following each other.

Wordless Wednesday - Father's Day

Princess made this on one of her last days at school. We had to hide it until Father's Day came and she could give it to Daddy. I was surprised that she remembered when she woke up that morning that it was Father's Day. Before we were up, she got out of bed and got the card from its hiding place (in the dining room) and had it hiding under her pillow when Daddy went in to get her.
That is a red feather attached to a black pen (cute idea).

Wordless Wednesday - Lilly Pads

This is just part of the wonderful view I have from my kitchen window. Thanks to my neighbor who puts a lot of effort into landscaping her yard. In the winter I always knew if it was really cold outside because there would be a layer of ice on top of the water.

Two Weeks After Surgery

Yesterday was the two week mark after my surgery.
I am healing very well! All my sutures are still very sensitive and the "girls" ache a lot. But all in all I am doing very well. They are "dropping" nicely and getting a great shape! I am very happy with the results and glad I made the decision to get them done!
I am still not allowed to wear an underwire bra, sports bras are the most comfortable. I have to sleep in a sports bra, but I did that prior to my surgery.

Have a great weekend everyone!

1,000th Commenter Award!!!

(Drum Roll Please) And the award goes to:

What's funny is I have been looking for a "total comment counter" for a while but I could not find a code that would work on Blogger. I just found it yesterday evening and discovered that the total number of comments was 998. I guess I found it just in time!!
The counter is near the top of the right column. If you would like the code for your blog just email me and I can send it to you. It was really easy to install.

4 Days After Surgery

I am feeling pretty good. My chest muscles are still pretty tight and I imagine they will be for a while. I almost have full movement back in my arms. Its still a little tight when I raise my arms above my head. But all in all I am not in any pain. I have not had to take narcotic pain meds since Sunday morning. I was taking Tylenol and Monday the Dr. started me on Ibuprofen.
When I first sit up out of bed in the morning its a little rough. Everything aches a little in the morning. I am not a back sleeper, I prefer to sleep on my side. But for now I am only allowed to sleep on my back, it sucks, its uncomfortable. But that is my biggest complaint right now. I go back to the Dr. on Thursday and hopefully they will tell me I can sleep on my side.
I have a lot of bruising, but that is to be expected. Most of the bruising is yellow at least. I bruise easily so I had expected worse. But its seems to be when I expect bad bruising, its not too bad. So that is good.

Thanks everyone for all your "get well" comments I really appreciate it!
