I NEED Motivation...

I am not a slob, I keep my house clean, my dishes done (mostly, sometimes I put them off until the end of the day), I vacuum twice a week (dog hair). But I have clutter.
Drives my husband nuts, when hes home. There is always clutter on my desk. Even on a blue moon when I finally go through everything and get it organized, it never stays that way for very long. I don't know how to keep it uncluttered. (Is that a word) Its just one of those things I put off.

Also, I Really Need Motivation to exercise. I cant seem to get into a routine where I do it often enough to make a difference. I would really like to improve myself so when Hubby gets home in 7 months his jaw drops. (Yea right, that would require plastic surgery, LOL) OK, personal info, I have had two kids and my body shows it. I would like it to be close to the body I had before children. Certain thing like stretch marks on my stomach will never go away no matter how many crunches I do. But that's the way it goes. I can still improve things.

Help Me, I need motivation. Anyone else know what I mean. I have an idea on how we can motivate each other, wanna join me?

  1. I'm working on the weight thing, too (you can see my progress in the sidebar - none so far, lol).

When I lost 30 pounds a few years ago, I could still see every weird out-of-place lump and stretch mark. My husband couldn't keep his hands off me! They see the whole picture, not the details.

  2. Oh - if you want to give motivation, let me know! I need ongoing motivation, too.

  3. count me in. i need motivation too ;)

  4. Just happened to pass by via Entrecard and saw that you needed motivation.

I've been a personal trainer for a long time, so I can help.

The good news is that you can make a lot of progress in 7 months.

My first suggestion...for the next 3 days, post exactly what you ate and drank. This means everything.

If you really want results you'll need to get honest with yourself and see exactly what you are putting in your body.

When you have done this, post your link at my fitness for busy mom's free membership site.

I haven't been posting there as I am working on two other projects, but will if there is interest.

You can email me via my regular site too.

    You can do it,

  5. The best thing we did to declutter was put the house up for sale. The house didn't sell but we got rid of so much junk it felt bigger physically and emotionally. also a big help.

  6. Here's a thought.

Volunteer to walk dogs one afternoon a week at your local shelter. I started this routine a year and one half ago. I immediately lost 7 lbs and never gained it back.

I too struggle with motivation. I find it much easier to bail on myself and friends then the pups. This is a workout I never miss. And, I always come out of it feeling GREAT!
